Damon's story started with his passion for establishing a successful business in a small town setting. He is determined to provided rural areas with excellent service and support similar to what metropolitan areas enjoy, but tailored to the cultures, wants, and needs of rural customers.

Combining his passion with his morning ritual of coffee seemed to be the best fit for concentrating his effort. Living in a rural area himself, he has felt the struggles of finding great coffee in his area.

By founding Highway 40 Roasting Co., in 2018, he believes his goal of providing quality product and service will help bolster rural communities. He feels that Highway 40 Roasting will enhance economic activity and increase employment opportunities in the Uintah Basin.
